Is the first call free?
Yes. A free 30-minute call where you describe what is broken or what it has to do, and we tell you what we would build first and what it would take. No pitch, and you leave with a recommendation whether or not you hire us.
What do you charge per hour?
$50 an hour, the same rate for design and development, websites, stores and web apps. Hourly work comes with a weekly summary of hours and what shipped, and no minimum block.
What makes a fixed price go up?
Page count, custom design against a template, integrations with systems we have not seen yet, content that is not ready, and how many people need to sign off. We name the driver in the written scope so you can decide whether it is worth it.
Fixed price or hourly, which should I pick?
Fixed when the scope is clear and small enough to write down: a site build, a migration, a fix. Hourly when the work is open ended: a dashboard, a portal, a backlog. Most web apps run hourly because the second version is always different from the first.
Do I have to start with an audit?
No. The website audit is for when you do not know what is wrong, and the CRO audit is for when traffic is fine and sales are not. If you already know what you need, go straight to the work. If an audit does not tell you something useful, you do not pay for it.
How does the care plan work?
A block of hours each month at the hourly rate, for updates, fixes and new pages. Unused hours roll over one month. You can cancel any month. Most clients keep us on after the build, because the site or the tool keeps changing after it ships.
How do you take payment?
Fixed work is half to start and half at launch. Hourly and care plans invoice at the end of each month. Card, bank transfer, or through Upwork if you prefer their escrow.
